The HUM EDU functions as a unit that works with different departments, but most specifically the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHED). You can learn more about them by visiting the CHED website. Alongside department collaborations, the EDU also supports extended degree students by employing Teaching Assistants (TAs). The Extended Degree Teaching Assistants (EDTAs) are usually Masters/PHD students in their respective disciplines, who have a range of responsibilities within their departments aimed at improving ED students' learning experience. They design and manage additional plus tutorials, help lecturers train and manage tutors, and oversee the work of the ED Tutors who run Plus Tutorials.
